It is Tiko’s first day at a new school. His shell feels heavy.
إنه اليوم الأول لتيكو في مدرسة جديدة. يشعر أن صدفته ثقيلة.
Tiko pulls his head into his shell. Maybe nobody will see him.
يُدخل تيكو رأسه في صدفته. ربما لن يراه أحد.
Knock, knock. “Hello in there!” says Kiti. “Want to draw?”
طق، طق. «مرحباً يا من في الداخل!» تقول كيتي. «هل تريد أن ترسم؟»
Tiko peeks out. He draws a turtle wearing a crown.
يُطلّ تيكو. يرسم سلحفاة تلبس تاجاً.
Everybody loves it. Toti asks, “Can you draw me too?”
يحبها الجميع. يسأل توتي: «هل ترسمني أنا أيضاً؟»
Going home, Tiko’s shell feels light. “See you tomorrow!”
في طريقه إلى البيت، يشعر تيكو أن صدفته خفيفة. «أراكم غداً!»
